We have put the Di866 through it’s paces as a regular user should. This review is aimed more at the regular consumer and hobbyists rather than the technically knowledgeable Professional Photographer (although you might still find this review useful).

Before the Nissin Di866 release, we have used and abused the Nissin Di622 which we now have several units of. We complained of the swivel head up and down lock mechanisms as total garbage. Di622 Flash head will fall down from a 45 degree position if we attached snoots, lightsperes and other moderately heavy diffusers and …

How do I use it? And how do I achieve a high-speed sync?

These are a few questions you ponder about after getting your first ever external flash. First let’s clarify the meaning of “Sync”. Sync is actually a shortcut of synchronization, and synchronization is the way two objects function, move, execute at the same time in it’s simplest sense.

There are many ways to do this, and one effective method is to use a Photographic Grey card.

One of the things I ordered is the Nissin Di622 and this is its review.

The Nissin Di622 is a flash unit for the budget conscious, it is often compared to the Nikon SB-600 and if you are looking to convince yourself with both, the simple answer would be: “The SB-600 costs double the price of a Di622, so if you have a Nikon system and you have the budget, get the Nikon SB-600, it has CLS and when you get an SB-900 in the future, the two will go hand in hand …

I finally decided that I would post an inquiry to one of the forums I am in. I asked for a call to action in sharing the sites they know locally that accept paypal. I received two to three suggestions and one stood out. It is Filters Exchange.

Filters Exchange stood out because the owner actually responded on my thread that he is willing to accept paypal although not mentioned anywhere on his multiply …
